"Great experience, friendly staff, the lodge is one of a kind, our room was located in the newer building near the lagoon which was equally beautiful serene. The onsite resturant is fantastic. Amazing food with friendly staff who provided prompt and excellent service. Our server was knowledgeable with the menu and gave us some great local options to explore."

"It was such a beautiful stay. I loved being there to de-stress. The view of the water was wonderful and being able to go down to the rocky beach was extra scary but worth it. Be very cautious if you attempt to go down the steep and seemingly sudden drop. In reality there are other ways to get to the water. The hot tub was really nice too, although the cleaner was not notified to come at a later/ time so I had a very worrisome early start to the day. I'd still come back. It was too wonderful not to. Thank you again."

"Our 2 night stay at Penn Cove cabin was magical! We saw bunnies, hummingbirds & eagles all from the front porch meadow area. And hearing the frogs in the pond as you drift off to sleep was so peaceful. The cozy little cabin is tucked away in the woods yet so close to anything you need. Deception Pass state park, Oak Harbor for morning coffee or groceries, Fort Casey/lighthouse & Coupeville are a must. The hosts are super helpful & quick to respond with any suggestions or questions you have. The interior was clean and beds were comfy also. It was the perfect place to come back to recharge after a day of exploring the island. "
