"This hotel was in a good location however the poor sound proofing let down what could have been a much better experience. Overall the room and the facilities were fine but we would have really preferred a sofa or two comfortable chairs rather than a table and two uncomfortable dining chairs. Maybe that’s just us! "

"The hotel is huge but very, very under staffed. We tipped the staff because they were working over the legal time. They had to keep apologizing to the guests when it was not their fault. Our bathroom shower fell apart, the water was leaking, the toilet was not secure and kept moving, We were very excited about our trip but extremely disappointed. There was one employee at check-in with 8-10 guests in line. One waiter at the gorgeous restaurant, therefore, guests were frustrated or left. One poor bartender over worked. One young man, Cole, at the "buffet" was the only waiter. We would not ever stay there again, "

"A very quaint and comfortable property located within three blocks of the beach and a half a mile from the Santa Barbara pier. Room was very comfortable with a large king bed small kitchen and small 3/4 shower bathroom, too. Concierge staff, especially Mickey, were very helpful and entertaining with restaurants dining tips etc. However, as a retired commercial real estate appraiser with 45 years experience, the accommodations were overpriced for what was presented. What’s up, kid?"
