"We had an amazing stay! The restaurant had tasty food and drinks, the path to the beach was the best we’ve experienced at the island, the pool was great, breakfast was wonderful, and the staff was friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The shop in the lobby was open 24hrs. You could easily walk to some restaurants and shops. Plenty of parking."

"This is a very nice property. We stayed in the bungalows on the first floor, where able to see the pool with a partial beach view. Had we had been on the 2nd floor we would have had a full beach view. I must say, we really enjoyed our room, and the close proximity to the pool. Regarding the room, we did have some problems with the television and one of the lights, but it was very clean and we did enjoy it. The beach was very clean and well maintained. I really enjoyed the cleanliness and feel of the sand. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Overall, I would recommend the Isla Grand Beach Resort to all my friends."

"You have to pay for parking to park in the hotel parking lot. Not sure why as I am a paying customer. The “fridge” is not a fridge, I called and they said it doesn’t keep your food cold as it’s NOT a fridge. I needed it for my kids milk. :/ The property was nice. Pictures show more than 1 pool, the other pool was for the condominiums next door. On the site it shows they have microwaves but they don’t, I called for one and they don’t have them. I liked the Shark restaurant and the coffee shop as well. It was a nice getaway from San Antonio. The staff were nice as well. The towels were always gone by noon, glad we brought our own. We got there on Monday and left on a Thursday. There were people drinking in the pool which was not a problem but they left their plastic cups and pineapple slices in the pool - Not cool, whatsoever. Loved the 2 chairs we had on the balcony. AC worked extremely well, loved that part. The beds were so comfy. Loved the room decor. Over all we had a good time there. Just noticed Expedia had me priced at $891 but when I checked out I was charged $1007. There are Beach nourishment tax, state occupancy tax, city occupancy tax, resort fee, and a venue tax- beware."

"We had a great experience during our stay. The breakfast was good and fresh, however the dining area is very small and really packed. The hot tub was cold, the pool was warmer. The walk to the beach was quick and easy to get to but there is a short span where there is no runner and difficult for the wagons to roll but maneuvering was possible. The beach access and side doors were not locked as key card access was not working. Overall great stay and plan to return."
