"Loved staying here. It’s middle of the jungle! Staff is amazing! Make huge difference! I think they need to do more activities, haber more options to eat as it’s in a island and to get more options you need to go to town. and improve WiFi connection."

Cosmic Crab Resort

"I have been traveling to Cosmic Crab for 9 years. It is one of my favorite places. The resort has a rustic Caribbean vibe with one of the best sunset views in Bocas. The pool is lovely. The restaurant has delicious food. I recommend the fresh fish dishes, burgers, and pizza. The bloody Mary's and margaritas are fabulous. The staff is friendly and helpful. Sometimes they host special events like a mosaic art workshop. They are now a Filthy Friday stop, also. You are just a quick boat ride from the main island."

Bocas Paradise Hotel

"We really enjoyed our stay; I think it's one of the best hotels in Bocas del Toro. Why? It's just a 10-minute walk from the airport. It is 100% clean. Friendly and helpful staff. The air-conditioning in the room works perfectly well. Boats to go to other islands/trip are next to the hotel and some can pick/drop you up at the back of the hotel. Nice restaurant, comfort and views. Then, across the street, there is a very cheap restaurant to have breakfast or something cheaper to eat. Shops nearby as well. The only negative point is that from Thursday to Saturday night the nightclub next to it, has very loud music. So, either you joint the party or book the hotel Sunday to Wednesday. The hotel provided earplugs, but... it's loud."

Lula's Bed & Breakfast

"A Wonderful Stay at Lula’s Bed & Breakfast! We spent three wonderful days at Lula’s Bed & Breakfast on Isla Colón in Bocas del Toro. From the moment we booked, Alan and Tammy were friendly and accommodating. We arrived early and greatly appreciated the early check-in. Our deluxe room was spacious and comfortable, with a king-sized bed, private bathroom, and plenty of room to relax. The common areas were nice, and we enjoyed connecting with fellow travelers over breakfast. The location was ideal—just a six-minute walk from the airport, in a quiet area, yet within easy walking distance of the lively town center, restaurants, and local attractions. Alan was an exceptional host, offering great advice and recommendations while making us feel genuinely welcome. We also enjoyed the three beautiful dogs, Buster, Lev, and Max, who added an extra touch of charm to our stay! We recommend Lula’s to anyone visiting Bocas del Toro. With comfortable accommodations, a welcoming atmosphere, a great location, and wonderful hosts, it’s a fantastic place to stay. We would happily return!"

Punta Caracol Acqua Lodge

"Nuestra experiencia en Punta Caracol fue muy bonita. Es un lugar encantador, rodeado de naturaleza, con una ubicación privilegiada y paisajes espectaculares. Nos encantó especialmente poder hacer snorkeling y disfrutar del mar. Es un lugar maravilloso para visitar en familia, ya que los niños disfrutan muchísimo de esta experiencia. Además, su ubicación es estratégica para conocer otros lugares de Bocas del Toro. Como aspectos por mejorar, consideramos importante mencionar que las habitaciones no cuentan con refrigerador y que, para conservar algunos alimentos o cargar los teléfonos, es necesario acudir al restaurante, lo cual resulta un poco incómodo. También notamos que algunas instalaciones muestran señales de deterioro y necesitan mantenimiento para conservar la belleza del lugar. A pesar de estos detalles, nos llevamos una experiencia muy bonita en familia. Es un destino con muchísimo encanto y potencial. Con algunas mejoras en sus instalaciones y comodidades, la experiencia sería aún más especial. ¡Sin duda, un lugar que disfrutamos mucho y que recordaremos con cariño!"

"A Magical Rainforest Escape – Highly Recommended! We absolutely loved our stay at Ataraxia eco lodge! The property is run by a very nice couple who make you feel incredibly welcome from the moment you arrive. It is beautifully located right in the rainforest, allowing you to completely immerse yourself in nature. During our stay, we loved watching monkeys playing, spotting sloths, and seeing a variety of beautiful tropical birds right from the property. The food was another major highlight. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and they also offer a healthy, plentiful, and amazing dinner for an extra fee, which is well worth it. The location is incredibly quiet and peaceful. It is the perfect place to disconnect, enjoy nature, listen to the birds and frogs yipping, and gaze at the stars at night. One thing that travelers should be aware of is that this is a true eco-lodge, so there is no air conditioning in the room. If you are someone who absolutely prefers to sleep in a cold room, keep this in mind. For us, it was part of a wonderful, authentic experience."
