"We stayed here for the hot spring and skiing. The sauna and outdoor bath were awesome โ€“ we loved them! The hotel itself is a bit old-fashioned and has a 90s atmosphere, but thereโ€™s nothing wrong with that. In fact, it felt like a nice cultural experience, a bit different from the usual modern hotels in Japan. The only downside for me was the dinner option. There was only a set course menu, which didnโ€™t work well for me because I was very hungry after snowboarding all day. The food was beautiful...
