"Happy accident getting a room for a night when my car died in Rhinelander. Staff couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. Coffee shop and supper club in resort, so not having car was no problem. Shopped for hodags at the cute gift shop and just relaxed with a view of the lawn, trees and shore of the lake. Reliable wifi so I could get some work done too. "Check in and staff were very friendly. The room was clean. Towels has some minor stains but we're fine. The room temperature controls were awful. Heat set to 61 and it was way to hot but cool set to 80 was way too cold. The hotel was a little maze like but that made it fun and interesting. The
pool area was very open, a little dark but fine for the kids to play. Overall a great hotel for a hockey tournament and would recommend. "

"Booked a family trip on a holiday weekend expecting continental breakfast like it said on the amenities and there was a some corn flakes, loaf of bread and grape jelly, no coffee, milk, or juice. The waffle batter was completely empty (came down early for breakfast too so it isn’t like they just went through that much over the morning). "The staff was absolutely amazing. Friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room my daughter and I were assigned was on the second floor. I'm not sure if there was an elevator available to us, but the concierge immediately offered to help take our bags to our room. He was very attentive. He recognized us throughout our visit, the other guests with whom we arrived, as well as their room numbers off the top of his head. Excellent service!!! The room was very clean. The fridge had a small puddle at the bottom (probably from not being used recently) but no odor whatsoever. The concierge sent someone to the room while we went out for the evening to thoroughly clean the fridge. We were extremely satisfied with this. The Handlebar in the bathtub was broken upon over arrival but that was inconsequential for our needs so was acceptable. We did inform the concierge though. The AC worked great. The beds were very clean and comfortable. Overall the room was perfect. The breakfast was yummy (typical hotel breakfast fare). The pool and surrounding area was clean and was a very comfortable setting to unwind at the end of a long day. The pool area has its own (very clean) men and women bathrooms in the same room as the pool, so were easily accessible. I'm extremely pleased and will definitely stay here again!! "
