"Hotel Excelsior is strategically located in Ipoh downtown and many well-regarded eateries are within walking distance. We always stay here just for this reason. Just imagine: directly opposite the hotel is the renowned Oversea Restaurant that offers the finest Cantonese cuisine. The rooms are spacious with a bright and cheery vibe. Seems like the hotel has gonr through recent refurbishment. Cost is also reasonable. A good place to stay at."
"The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made my stay very comfortable. The front desk and dining area were clean and well maintained, so I felt very comfortable during my stay.
The room itself was fairly standard, but it was cleaned carefully. One small negative was that I found a small piece of toilet paper on the floor next to the toilet.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. Having a 7-Eleven on the ground floor was also very convenient."
