"It w took an hour for check in, 1 person at the desk with 15 people waiting. Room was adequate. Said breakfast but was told at check in there was a grab and go breakfast bag, there was not. To top it all off no hot water hotel wide and no resolution after 3 hours and no manager on duty. 😡"

"Room was large, clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and great view of the harbor. Busy street between hotel and harbor...lots of traffic noise to about 11 PM. Short walk to Aquarium and other harbor activities. "

"I was there during a large conference (I was not part of the conference) and the hotel was totally understaffed. They had one or two people at the front desk. The bar/restaurant ran out of food and tap beer, and they only had one bartender on duty. He was very good but had too many customers. Also, they put me in a room that looked out on the conference floor so it was loud and there was food tables set outside on the 6th floor. Stay away from the 6th floor. They did move me because I needed to be able to rest and open the curtains without everyone at the conference seeing me. It was an odd setup on that floor. Once moved the room was nice and comfortable. The area wasn't the best. As I entered the hotel a woman was getting arrested at the hotel. In the evening there was police activity outside the hotel. It looked like youth fighting. Overall it is a nice hotel but it is huge and if you have problems walking a long distance with bags you may want to stay somewhere else. There is one elevator shaft, and you end up doing a lot of walking to get to your room if on the other side of the hotel. "

"The hotel itself was okay. After calling 5x's with no answer house keeping did finally respond to my request for an extra blanket and a set of towels. 2 hours later they did bring it to the room. I went to take a shower that evening the water was cold. I called guest services and maintenance showed up made an adjustment where it was now lukewarm. I was just like whatever, its better than it was. BTW the maintenance guy was excellent. Then we had to stare at a pile of soiled linen stacked up right across from our room for the two days we were there. I only saw housekeeping 1 time in the hotel, and that was when they answered my request. The staff was friendly overall. The expeience, I would definitely not stay here again because of it."

"I only stayed here for overnight, but the room was beautiful. Comfortable bathroom was clean. Kitchen area was clean. Check-in was easy. Staff was wonderful accommodated you with everything. I left my water bottle in the room and they let me go back up and get it of course with security I would recommend this hotel right across the street to 7-Eleven and another breakfast place."

"For a Hyatt Place in the nice part of Baltimore that this was located, it felt worlds away from what I was hoping for or expecting. Lots of things either broken or unhinged, unfriendly staff, were always lacking what I was looking for and just overall not great "

"Very nice hotel but not in the nicest area lots of homeless individuals liked to hang out near the front. Staff was exceptional very helpful and friendly. The only big dislike was that I purposely picked the Kimpton because on Expedia it had listed each room having a bathtub. When I arrived there was no bathtub - they said they recently renovated and took all the bathtubs out. I honestly would not have stayed here had I known there was no tub which I needed due to my autoimmune disorder. I spent 4 days very cold and stiff- the shower did not cut it. The room was very clean and housekeeping was right on top of everything. I had clean towels every day and the room was cleaned. Only thing besides the tub was there was only 1 trash can in the bathroom. I didn’t want to throw food leftovers in the bathroom trash. Bed was comfortable and had a large comforter on top which is better than just the thin blanket at other hotels. There also was not a lot of restaurant choices around the area and the bartender at the hotel restaurant was extremely rude- I get she was working by herself and there was an influx of people due to a conference, but she didn’t need to be rude and blatantly ignore you when you were at the bar (especially because it was really the only place). Don’t go walking for something to eat after 8 because there is nothing except for a Royal Farms which did not have the best characters hanging out at. "
