Ardoe House Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Staff very attentive, room very clean, no problem parking, breakfast amazing, ate in restaurant for evening meal once, again amazing . Would very highly recommend this hotel, will definitely book again in the spring"

Maryculter House

10/10 Excellent

"This is an olde worlds building lots of little rooms also larger function suite all connected with old fashioned corridors connecting them. But there bedrooms are not small and hey are very spacious en-suite rooms. Beautifully decorated with the period they represent. The staff are very peasant, helpful and friendly. Good food. Excellent venue for a wedding as beautiful setting inside and outside extensive countryside woodland walk to the river."

Bayview Bed and Breakfast

10/10 Excellent

"David at Bayview was prompt in responding to inquiries. The property itself is clean and serviceable, but the view and location on the beach are unsurpassed. A great variety of items for breakfast were provided including freshly purchased milk, fruit, bread and other items were greatly appreciated. I would recommend this property."

Apartrooms

10/10 Excellent

"A clean and modern apartment with all you need for a short stay. You had to do a online checking and were given a code to open the door. There is no front desk. and there didn't need to be. all the information was provided and had no issue getting into the room. If I had one criticism it was the use of blinds on the smaller windows, I'd have preferred curtains like on the big windows. A couple of the blinds were bent, solved it by keeping the bathroom door open which blocked the bedroom window. But that did not distract from the stay. Easy to get to, easy to check in, clean, tidy with all you need at a good price for what you get. I'd stay again in a heartbeat."

Northern Hotel Brechin

8/10 Good

"The staff were exceptional!! The food was exceptionally good, with a mix including Indian as well as UK, but all - dinner and breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is in the centre of the city of Brechin, quite close to the cathedral - well worth visit! Th oldest part dates from around 1000AD"
