The property was amazing. Very close to train stations and very walkable. Everything was super clean and overall a great stay. Front desk staff also helped with all our questions and explanations were great.

Can’t complain with location but the guest house is above the Indian Restaurant so the food smell goes to our room, there is no vent so if u open the window, right below our room is an alley where waiters and guests smoke and again, smoke and chatter go straight to our room. The room is bright but need some TLC.

Good value and location.
In booking our stay in Interlaken, it was really important for us to be conscious of price. Ultimately, we chose to stay at the Hey Hotel Guest House for that reason- understanding that we may give up some comforts in order to get a decent price. We were pleasantly surprised by our stay, especially given that the price was one of the best in the area. Our check in process was smooth, quick, and easy. We were given a locked area to store our luggage before we were able to access our room. The Hey Hotel and the Guest House are very conveniently located- about a 5 minute walk from Interlaken West train station, and a 12 minute walk from Interlaken Ost train station, as well as directly off of the main street, near a lovely park, by plenty of shopping, near the entrance to Harder Kulm funicular, but tucked away just enough to be quiet. The Guest House was very clean and quiet, we say maybe only 1 other guest while we were there. There was no air conditioning (which we knew ahead of time) but a fan was provided which kept us cool overnight. There was a strong wifi connection as well. The bathroom was lovely, although the door did not close, and there was not a mini fridge. Ultimately, a stay at the Hey Hotel Guest House provides a nice balance of convenience, walkability, and price. It is a no-frills stay but certainly provides all the basic necessities to remain comfortable.
