" staff was professional and generally friendly and helpful. The property is well cared for The atrium is nice and bright and welcome on both sunny and cloudy days. The cookies , fruit and bars during the day and evening and good coffee are welcome. The continental breakfast is good. hotel is quiet and well landscaped. Location works well for the Valley and airport proximity. "

"My husband and I stayed three nights and our stay was very nice. Great staff, helpful always with a sense of humor. The location of the hotel, close to historic downtown and on the waterfront was very handy. We could walk to go shopping and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will stay here again😊"

"So, I must say I loved staying there. BUT, it’s old. Our room was clean and quiet. Tub dripped a bit which I didn’t care about. Window to didn’t shut quite right. The parking lot was nearly unusable cuz they chose not to deal with the massive snow, but they directed me to a lot across the street I could poach if I left by 8am. You can tell it was amazing in its heyday. My daughter (9) gives it full 5 stars. I only rated cleanliness lower because the ice machine on 2 had LOTS of dust on top of it the whole 4 night stay. Ice machine on 4 didn’t work. All that said, I found it lovely and would wholly recommend if you don’t mind a few quirks in a beautiful old hotel that’s got clean rooms and great food nearby."
