Hôtel La Chapelle

"My wife and I stayed for three nights in the Luxury Triple, and had an amazing experience. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, the staff are a true delight and it's a wonderful mix of creative design blending the original chapel building into a modern hotel. Every detail is meticulously attended to. The location is an easy 7-10 minute walk from the train station and very walkable to the historic core village and the lake. The staff was always smiling, helpful and spoke great English and were patient with our feeble attempt at French. The room was spacious, bed and pillows along with the large sofa were brand new and quite comfortable. Loved the private patio off of the room's sliding glass doors. It was incredibly quiet and not a loud setting with kids running around (no offense, I had young kids once), so it's good for couples. I highly recommend purchasing the breakfast, which we enjoyed with its great food selection in a truly French way, along with wonderful staff and delicious coffee. The bar is beautiful and you must take time to enjoy it as well during your stay. My ONLY suggestion is to add a mini-fridge to the room. Highly recommend Hotel La Chapelle!"

"The cleanliness, staff, location were all excellent! A great choice for an overnight stay near the airport and train stations. We could have used a couple of extra pillows, and the "night-stands (trays) on the walls between the beds were so tiny--there was almost no place to place any personal items for the night. That said, we would still recommend this motel due to convenience and cleanliness. Also, free shuttle was provided from airport to hotel and back, as well as a guest card for area travel. A grocery store was only a few steps away that provided a very good selection of prepared foods that we purchased for our evening meal. Very friendly staff on arrival!"

"We loved the location, but the hotel definitely needs some upgrades. Shower only partially worked and the floor was glued together. Old, brown stained carpet in bedroom wasn’t appealing- even if it was clean, it didn’t look it. Hard to sleep because not very soundproof- we awoke to doors slamming at all hours."

"Follow shuttle bus signs from the airport. Minibus is black with 3 small squares which say the various Nash hotel, Nash .. etc. The logos on the shuttle are quite small and parks the far side of the road. They arrive at the airport on the hour, 20 past and 40 past. They leave Nash complex 10, 30, 50 past the hour. Beds comfy but pillow in room 313 was lumpy. Facilities great, sauna and relaxation room were lovely. 3 min walk to Oberson boulangerie. Main areas are well kept but stairwells could do with a paint. Generous check in and out times - remember to put your do not disturb door sign on if you are checking out after 08:30. Thank you to Nash Hotel for a lovely stay."

"The staff were really friendly and helpful, from the shuttle driver (Nuno) to the front desk staff - everyone was really enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. It was nice being close to the airport and the tram station is a 10 minute walk away. The breakfast was really good. I’d stay again."
