"The staff were extremely helpful (Lori, T, Tara, Cathy, Alice) all were very nice and attentive. However, there was one staff member who was rude I found out that her name is Chloe. My husband and I were reserved for a 5 night stay. On our 2nd day since arriving, I went to the front desk to ask for more coffee packets and cups. Chloe was rude and told me that she could give me some additional packets of coffee, but to go up the road and buy my own cups. I was shocked. If she did not have any behind the front desk then she could have at least informed me that she would find out and get back to me instead of telling me to go and buy my own. My husband had a problem with the internet and she was rude to him as well. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay!!"
"The best part of the Inn was the lovely porch and view. Absolutely gorgeous. If you need a place to unwind and relax, this is it! Also a nice breakfast with a wide variety of offerings.
The rooms are clean. They run a bit small, but the Inn has lots of other spaces to relax in. It also has games, a basket of toys for kids, and books to read."
"We stayed here for one night during our road trip and had a pleasant experience overall.
The room was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. A big plus was the central air conditioning, which worked great and made the room very comfortable after a long day of driving.
The only downside was that there isn't any food available on-site. While this wasn't a major issue, the nearest restaurant closes fairly early, so you may need to drive a bit if you arrive later in the evening. Having breakfast available in the morning would also be a nice addition, although it's certainly not a dealbreaker.
One small suggestion would be to provide the Wi-Fi password in the room. I had to ask at the front desk, and it would be more convenient if the information was already available for guests.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a comfortable place to spend the night, and I would definitely consider staying here again if passing through the area."
"My family and I (3 adults, 2 kids, 3 dogs) stayed here for 10 wonderful days. We stayed in two trailers (Passport & Catalina) and we had never stayed in trailers before, but they were nice and enjoyable, a learning experience for sure if you have never done so, but they still have all of the same amenities that you would get elsewhere for the most part. Each trailer came with a deck, bbq and picnic table for outside use, as well as a fire pit, which was great to be able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views of the harbour and mountains on one side and the beach/ocean on the other. You are surrounded by water and nature, as you are on the island, everything seemed to settle down and the hustle and bustle of city life just stopped. I think we would have stayed there if we could have. An amazing place to be if you like peace and quiet, yet close in proximity to the beaches, lighthouse and fishing all around. Then you are only a short drive from Cheticamp itself, where there are all kinds of amenities, co-op grocery store/home hardware and liquor/pot shop, gas stations, souvenir shop (floras) and other local stops. All kinds of eateries and entertainment. The owner (James) was very helpful and always checking in to see if we needed anything, always on the go and I apologize as I cannot remember the super nice cleaning lady’s name, but she was always on the go too making everything was kept up. We had an amazing time and we know where to go the next time we go back!"
"The staff and owner were really great! We stayed for 2 nights and they helped us with getting kayaking ready. There are two issues we had, one was we didn’t realize how cold it gets at night (even in July). We stayed in an older plastic dome so it felt more like a tent. Make sure you bring winter PJs/extra layers.
The other matter was outside of our control. The shower area drained towards the toilet so everything was wet after a shower. Aside from these two things everything else was amazing. I definitely want to come back but maybe stay in the hard domes with a kitchenette."
"Unique property, staff was friendly and accommodating and there was a nice breakfast provided in the morning. Kids liked staying here, as there were 3 beds in our room so they didn't have to share. Our only complaint would be the bugs and spiders in the room. It is a "cottage style" vibe, so if you are looking for fancy, it might not be your place."
