"Everything about our stay at the Crowne Plaza, and Kansas City in general, was good. The only thing we took exception to was that the hotel, and almost all other bars and restaurants, charged an additional 20%(!!!) for a "tournament surcharge "(???). They should have all been exceptionally happy with the additional business they had. Most of their customers traveled from Europe, Africa, and all across the USA to be there. I think most felt they were being gouged."

"I only stayed one night but the stay was very fun! The check in lady was very fun and cute! I stayed for a concert and everything was easy to find and get too! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend and stay again! Thank you!"

"I wish they had some literature in the room to describe what the facilities offered and possibly a map showing how to get to the pool. Also wish there were more towel racks and clothing hooks in the dressing/sink area. Also think the full link dressing mirror should be moved off the wall that faces the dressing area AND sleeping area. NOT all guests would be comfortable with their reflection being seen in various states of undress by other occupants who are sharing the room - these might be children, adult relatives, or even just friends. Put the full length mirror IN THE DRESSING/WASHING AREA."

"Location is superb, in a safe area with restaurants nearby and close to the highway. Hotel was clean and comfortable, exactly what you'd expect. Pros: Check-in was a breeze, soft beds, clean shower, quiet area. Cons: tv was old with fuzzy picture, no cold water in the sink and refrigerator was turned off. No water fountain in the lobby to fill up water bottles. Breakfast was complimentary but meh."
