"We stayed here for 10 days and enjoyed how convenient it was to all the top tourist sites. Tip: easy walk to the bus stop at the National Museum to get to wherever isn't an easy walk. The hotel staff was helpful, rooms were cleaned well. The restaurant in the sister hotel 100 feet away has an excellent dinner. The children and I enjoyed the pool and sauna there before dinner after our days of sightseeing. All the little extras, some included and some I paid extra for, were all worth it. Great view of the Castle, too!"

"To start with, it's an ideal location for visiting Edinburgh's historic district. With much within walking distance getting to see this beautiful city was easy. The hotel, as an anchor point was ideal. Service levels were, as one would expect from a premium brand, superb. From the concierge and the entire support team, through the front desk staff attending to guests' needs and inquiries, to the staff in the hotel's Eve restaurant, who provided an excellent level of attention. (I can't speak for the other restaurant as we did not have the opportunity to patronise that establishment.) I will gladly return to this hotel in the future. "

"breakfast and dinner were beautifully prepared, and service was impeccable. staff helpful — however — I booked a “double standard room”. with translates into one double bed — the staff realized our confusion, and in some cases they can split a a king into 2 twins. Inventory was low, they could not do the split, and my friend and had to sleep in the same bed — they brought us separate duvets - but we were together. not the greatest for 2 single ladies “out on the town""
