"Hotel was very clean with helpful staff. Breakfast was ok, but have had better at other Marriott hotels."

"This was the perfect place to stay for two nights while I was exploring Edinburgh. It was conveniently located and there was plenty of things to see right around it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were comfortable and everything felt safe and clean."

"The staff is fantastic. The bunk beds are comfy & clean. They have daily activities in the common room (beer & whiskey tastings). The hostel is in the middle of many important historical sites. Right on the Royal Mile & close to Edinburgh Castle."

"Relatively basic, but comfortable, hotel, although with a peculiar bathroom set-up. The bathroom was a raised circular addition to a room that likely didn’t have facilities or was previously student housing. A space pod would best describe it. As a result, it was relatively cramped with limited counter space. No phone in the room. On the other hand, a good hot breakfast was available at extra cost. And very very close to the Royal Mile. This fact alone rises above the room criticisms, so go with the proximity to the attractions over minor criticisms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They knew the places to see and places to eat. Overall, a good place to see Edinburgh. "
