"We had an amazing stay at the Mount Royal Hotel. The staff were very friendly, and helpful. The room was very clean, with a very comfortable bed. The bar has a really relaxed atmosphere, and the breakfasts are amazing. Would highly recommended. "

"As a traveler coming from the US, my favorite part of this hotel was the ability to add early check in starting at 12pm for GBP 15. This added flexbility was very needed after the long overnight travel. I traveled solo and found the room to be small but perfect size just for me. The room was clean and modern. I thought it was good value. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was okay, I wish there had been more variety. The hotel was in a good location, 5 min walk from a tram stop and within a 15 minute walk of Old Town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore Edinburgh. "

"I travelled often and I make specific requests about the preferences of the room . Most hotels never care about it even though they write you a common reply that a computer would send as auto reply saying there is no guarantee of the request but they will try. Kimpton Charlotte Hotel did exactly what I asked for and not only that, the front officer knew about it and specifically mentioned they did go all out to make the preparations as I wanted . Extremely helpful staff and excellent service . It was a short stay . I would definitely stay there if I ever go to Edinburgh again "
