"Fantastic 2 bedroom villa. Great views from the garden. Our favourite stay in Italy. Elena and Leonardo provided excellent hospitality with extra advice and help. My 60th there which I will never forget. Pool area is beautiful as well. "

"The young lady who checked us in, I believe Gloria was her name, was very sweet and helpful during our stay. She upgraded us to a suite and it was very comfortable except for a dog that barked during the night,apparently, it belonged to the owners who were not on the property. So other than the dog annoying us during the nights and early mornings it was a comfortable place to stay and close enough to Florence to drive to in about 15 to 20 minutes. Just be careful not to be redirected too much...

"Stayed 4 nights in October. Easy on/off highway. Although located close to the highways, background noise is very low and did not bother a light sleeper like me. Nice, clean rooms. Bed rather comfortable and loved the shower. Breakfast buffet nicely done with your daily choice of fresh pastries. Although outside Florence, there is a bus stopping right outside the drive way every 20 minutes. Bus ride takes 20 minutes. Closest stop about 10 minute walk to Vecchio bridge. Other than the spotty wifi that might had to do with where our room was located, the property is a lovely getaway from busy city life, and the restaurant served wonderful breakfast and dinner options. "We messaged the property manager as we arrived at the property. Although our arrival time was outside of the checkin time, the roperty manager who is onsite accommodated our check in process right away. The unit was very clean, linen a d towels were clean as well. "Small room with no chair. First floor overlooking parking meant it was noisy with window open and staff arrivals in the early morning. Bathroom tiny lacking shelves for toiletries and towel racks, so not eco-friendly as there was nowhere to hang up towels and so reuse another day. Staff were wonderful. Grounds lovely and plentiful loungers, seating , etc. Dining good but room rather bright for our tastes. "

"Hotel Villa Ambrosina is up a steep hill with Commanding views of the Tuscan countryside from the top, it was a 15 minute drive from Florence and we parked in a big car park just inside the city walls which was great. The hotel is slightly dated, reception were helpful and there is a separate restaurant on site, the road to the hotel is narrow but there is a better alternative route!"
