"I have stayed in many bed and breakfast hotels across Europe and Italy. This is by far the best I have ever stayed. The location is not super fantastic. It’s next to a main road but we can’t hear anything in the room. The room is simple but super super clean and well maintained. Comes with very clean toilet and shower. Mini fridge. Our window looks out to groves of olive tree. Highly recommended!"

"Seems like the nicest place in town to stay. A bit hard to get to from the autostrada."

"The grounds were beautiful. The pool was warm and clean..a car is needed as there is not many places that are safe to walk to. The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. "Hotel Tirreno is truly a place to relax and re-energize yourself. Staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout out stay. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. "My family and I (husband and teen daughter) had a fantastic stay in June. We were given such warm and welcoming hospitality. Highly recommend Villa II Barone and the beautiful town of Tropea. It was our favourite place in Italy. "

"This is a great guesthouse and if you are lucky and get one of the front facing rooms, you get the best sea view in Tropea. The manager was very responsive and provided one of the best breakfasts on your own balcony every morning. Good value and only 10 mins walk from the train station."

"Leaking ceilings onto hallway carpeting. Booked in March for a Sept stay and was given an unacceptable room overlooking a roof when I inquired, they change us to at least a street view. Very hot rooms, was not able to control air-conditioning to be cooler, it was controlled by the front desk.🙄😵‍💫 I will say Patricia at the front desk was the most helpful of anyone at this hotel"
