Nicely located by the lake, great view and options to explore the surroundings One of the best hotel gyms I've ever seen!!! The multiple training areas really offer most bells and whistles one can ask for! Breakfast was great and plentyful, baked beans would be a nice add on though Economy rooms are rather like accommodation in a youth hostel: a bit worn, linoleum flooring in the main and bathroom; piping in the bathroom is exposed; rather functional than fancy which was a bit unexpected in a spa hotel Multiple saunas available but no relaxing/reclining areas to rest and read in between sauna sessions I would come back but opt for a better room. Also a relaxing area for the sauna is a must which I hope will be added in the near future.

Perhehuone Promenadi-siivessä oli todella kuuma, koska huoneissa ei ole ilmastointia. Huone oli katutasossa ulko uima-altaan puolella, joten altaiden melu kuului iltaan asti huoneeseen. Pimennysverhot oli aika kulahtaneet ja alkovin puolella niitä ei ollut ollenkaan, joten huone jäi tosi valoisaksi. Parisänky oli huono ja tyynyt erittäin surkeat. Vessassa kuuma sää oli ilmeisesti kuivattanut kaikki kaivot, koska siellä oli hirveä viemärinhaju ensimmäisenä päivänä. Hotellin yleiset tilat vaatisi ehkä pientä päivittämistä ja etenkin ehjiä ja puhtaita tuoleja. Kylpyläosasto oli sopiva 3-vuotiaan kanssa ja hotellin ympäristössä kivat maisemat. Aamupalalla oli hyvin esillä erikoisruokavalioiden merkinnät ja gluteenittomille tuotteille oma alue.

Ihan ok

Sijainti oli mahtava ja lähistöllä oli paljon tekemistä, mutta hotellissa itsessään oli parannettavan varaa. Hyvät: huone oli hyvän kokoinen ja parveke mukava, TV ja suihku hyvät, vessa hyvän kokoinen. Henkilökunta on todella kohteliasta. Hotellin sisältä löytyy mm. hieroja ja kauneushoitola, joten ihanien, rentouttavien palveluiden varaaminen suoraan huoneesta onnistuu (palvelut taivaallisia). Hotellin Ravintola Kastanjan ruoka on tosi hyvää - kätevää, että ihan ravintolan yhteydessä. Ympäristö (hotellin ulkopuolella) rauhallinen ja Saimaa ihan vieressä. Huonot: sängyt olivat liian kovat ja epämukavat, ja pitivät kovaa meteliä kun niillä liikkui; käytävältä kuului kaikki sisään, varsinkin kun siivoojat tulivat paiskomaan tavaroita oven ulkopuolelle; meidän huonetta ei käyty siivoamassa kertaakaan, ei edes kuppeja ja pyyhkeitä vaihdettu, eikä huoneessa ollut oveen ripustettavia kylttejä ’älä häiritse’ tai ’siivous kiitos’; suihkun ovi piti ikävää ääntä kun siihen koski; aamiaisella ei meinattu saada oikeaa voita vaikka pyydettiin (kokki ei näemmä halunnut millään suostua antamaan, piti käydä ostamassa omat lähikaupasta). Loppullinen arvio: ihan ok hotelli, mutta voisi olla parempi. Eniten vaivasi huonot (kovat ja kitisevät) sängyt. Muutoin kyllä pelasi ok, kun oli eniten hotellin ulkopuolella menoa.

Ekologisesti ilman kertakäyttötohveleita.

Huone oli yllättävän miellyttävä ja tilava. Kylpylän allasosasto on erityisen sopiva lapsille, mutta aikuisillekin löytyi kunnon allas. Huonesiin ei kuulunut kylpytakkeja eikä kertakäyttötohveleita, vain normaalit pyyhkeet, vaikka kyseessä on SPA-hotelli.

Huone kulahtanut ja likainenkin. Kylpylässä höyrysaunat rikki. Ruokailussa usein ruokalajit loppu pöydätä, samoin lautaset. Karaoke ilmoitettu 24 loppui 23.20. Hirnolls paikalla, ympäristö kuitenkin huonosti siistitty. Hyvä kauneushoitola. Hyvä allasalue.

Kylpylähotelli on todella remontin tarpeessa. Näyttää siltä, ettei tiloja juuri ole uusittu 90-luvun jälkeen. Kylpylä on melko pieni eikä siellä ole porealtaita kuin ulkona. Huone oli hieman nuhjuinen, nahkatuolin päällinen oli viillelty ja verhot huonot/vanhat. Kylpyhuone oli melko siisti. Plussaa on henkilökunta, kaikki olivat mukavia ja avuliaita. Mutta Imatran kylpylän kuten muidenkin Suomen kylpylöiden täytyy uusia tilansa lähitulevaisuudessa.

Minijuhannusloma 3 vrk.

Huoneistossa oli koneellinen ilmanvaihto, mutta ei ollut viilentäjää. Se haitannut, koska ilman lämpötila oli viileähkö. Scalet-huneisto oli siisti. Astiasto ok. Olisin kaivannut astiapyyhettä, konepesu jättää astioihin kosteutta, joka olisi hyvä kuivata ennen astioiden paikoilleen laittamista.
