"This was a fraud booking. I contacted Expedia and the hotel. Expedia was great about it but the hotel did not care that my credit card had been scammed and refused to cancel the booking. I’ve had to raise a dispute with my bank so they can investigate the issue further. Zero compassion from Novotel staff"

"The hotel looked newer in the pics online than in reality but it was comfortable and close to everything we needed. The shower needed a good scrub though. There wasn’t any bench space in the bathroom so my toiletries had to sit on the floor in their bag. Breakfast was great and convenient although we weren’t told how to access this on check in so ate out in the first morning. Room service was ordered on one occasion and the food came quickly and was delicious and hot. The coffe machine in the room needed rinsing quite a few times before use but was nice to have. The beach was also just a short walk which was nice and the pool and gym were enjoyed by my son. I think for the price I was expecting more and cleanliness of the bathroom and shower should be better however we did still enjoy our stay other than those things. I wouldn’t pay this price at the same hotel again though. I’ve stayed in cheaper accommodation that is cleaner and newer."

"Arrived at this place for check in and they didn’t have a record of my reservation and I was told they were full. Basically told too bad. No assistance offered in any way. I showed them my confirmation and receipt proving my booking and payment but they still didn’t care. Asked to speak to manager but they wouldn’t even come and speak to me. Can’t comment on rooms as I didn’t get to see one. Can I suggest reading other travellers reviews. If they don’t care about messing up a reservation one can only imagine what else they don’t care about."

8/10 Good

"Amazing shower - like standing under a hot waterfall after months of rain! Great beds & absolutely incredible view. Only small bug bear was the WiFi - we weren't able to stream a program, it just kept freezing or spinning. Not a biggie, we ended up hot spotting from our phones. Overall would highly recommend, great location, lovely staff & a really enjoyable visit."
