Family friendly Hotels in Igreja Nova, Aljezur

"We were 5 adults using a 3 bedroom house for 4 sleeps Feb 2026. Location is great. Easy parking. House had a great layout. —-We had issues with several things; the listing said daily housekeeping at checkin we were told housekeeping was every 3 days, the fireplace (electric) in the listing was locked off, there were only blankets in 2 bedrooms (first night I slept dressed because reception was closed, the main power for heating was locked off (we had no heat the first night, there was not enough hot water for 5 morning showers, the kitchen appliances need repair."

"Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Housekeepers were very attentive and helpful. Needed some assistance with appliances and repairs were dealt with very efficiently. "

"Lovely staff, offered to take our bags to the room, always polite and helpful. Had a Superior Twin room with balcony overlooking the gardens, table and chairs on balcony. Nice and peaceful and quiet outlook. Pool area was nice, even had a dip though it was the end of February so water was a bit cold. There was a man with a bird of prey round the pool to chase the seagulls away as they had a tendancy to land in the pool! Breakfast was exceptional, buffet style, cooked breakfast, continental meats and cheeses, huge selection of fresh bread, pastries, fresh prepared fruit and yoghurts, cereals, fresh juices, coffee and tea and even prosecco! In a great location with walking distance to supermarket, Lagos town and the beaches. Would definitely stay again."

"Nice one bedroom apartment, close to the beach with a nice restaurant, but restaurant in a hotel was closed for dinner, very inconvenient. Spa and pool only open till 6 pm, just the time to relax. And no robs in the room. Usually hotels with spa provide them. Next time will look for another hotel."
