"We loved the hotel, however we were woken up by loud construction going on in the property each morning and our shade was broken in our room which was never addressed after we reported it several times. The only other thing is if you are going to this hotel DO NOT FLY INTO SJO. THE TRAFFIC IS DANGEROUS AND 5.5 hour drive. Expedia is at fault on this. They should not even have it as an alternative. It’s like wanting to go see the Alamo and they fly you into Dallas."

"Absolutely beautiful. Lots of onsite activities and it was really easy to plan excursions and trips into the more populated areas. The only thing that needs improvement was the food. Sabernero Steakhouse was delicious but all of the other food was extremely low quality for the price. Definitely expected way better for a resort of that caliber. The staff was excellent, the property and rooms were clean. They were very on top of resetting and cleaning the rooms each day as well. Overall, I’d highly recommend as long as you don’t have any expectations for great food onsite."
