"Room was hot when we arrived, only cooled down to a warm 26 by the morning. Reserved the Deluxe Double which stated a king sized bed in the listing, nope it was a queen. Room was very basic and clean.
Overall, our 11 hour stay was comfortable. Breakfast cost extra, but was good. "
"Staff was good to us and friendly. Helpful when needed and on options to do or avoid abd getting us food order late on arrival! Owner seemed friendly the one time we met ! Good and safe location as Inca area is nuts . Breakfast was ok but average at best . But enjoyed non the less ! Big elevator was not working on the day ofvour arrival anf throout or stay unfortunately. Tiny littel one worked ok , but very tiny and doesn't hold much but made due . Big rooms with comfortable bed and smart ac and tvs so rooms wete good but plain my only real complaint was at 9 one day and 9 45 on the other of our staty , they started and woke to constructionwork rightvabovevus it seemed both days and probablyon going ad there buildup and all the time . Definitely was not impressed with the sounds of big tile floors or something being installed both days . . Bang bang bang .wawaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa .drilling sound on floor !!, loud and definitely bothersome. But without that our stay was quality and generally enjoyed our stay ! Pool was ok to , and slow and peacful place in the city jungle. If you drive here be prepared for chaos ... js "
"My wife became sick during our stay. The staff was incredible from the late night guards who helped me with new bed linens at 3:30 am to the girl working the front desk who helped me with a taxi to the pharmacy for meds. The wait staff in the restaraunt prepared tea for my wife. I cant say enough good things about this hotel. Thank you so much for all your help"
"Everything about this place is excellent! From super clean rooms with fresh smelling sheets/pillows, a fan in the room which helps with some relief from the desert heat, the food from the restaurant is a fair price and absolutely delicious!
We had more than one excellent conversation with Eduardo about local history, spirituality, and about our home country Canada 🇨🇦
I absolutely recommend renting the gear to try your hand at sandboarding if you are able as it is a beyond exhilarating experience!
Everything in Huacachina is accessible by foot and super close for walking distance since it really is a small desert oasis town.
We spent our days hiding from the heat at a nearby pool as a lot of the local businesses that have one offer day passes or you simply just need to purchase something from their attached restaurants to gain access to the pool ☺️
As young female travellers we felt beyond safe and are already planning our next trip to Peru to visit this hidden gem and try our hand at sandboarding! (After a lil more practice snowboarding back home 😂)"
