Beach front and great pool area... our room 101 was spacious.. furniture was very dated , not like on the pictures on site, looks like these were took when hotel first opened ! Was disappointed on entering, felt like throw back 80s style . I would recommend booking hotel dreams which is the adjoining property next door, my sister stayed there and was a more modern room for same price .
Overall we enjoyed our our time at Jabeque Soul, however we had several issues. On our 1st night we were put into a room that neighboured 5 twenty something year old boys who partied until ~7am Sunday morning, we got about 2 hours sleep. The staff were very understanding and moved us the next morning.....to a room on the same level, 4 doors down! We lasted about 1 hour in the room before my husband went and complained as we were now neighboring our previous neighbors mates, in a room with a broken balcony door which meant we could not access our balcony. The staff then moved us to anothor room, several levels away which we stayed in for the remainder of the trip. Overall the rooms were okay, the aircon was good but as soon as it was turned on it permeated a mouldy smell throughout the room. Throughout our stay we met several people who had items stolen from their rooms (they believe from housekeeping), mobile phones/jewellery/apple earphones etc which is extremely disappointing, when the staff where informed they pretty much did nothing and just told the guests to "call the police and go through insurance". We permanently left the do not disturb sign on our door and locked away our things. The pool atmosphere/music is amazing, and the food and drinks offered at the hotel are tasty and reasonably priced and the staff are friendly. Would not recomend this place to families or couples looking to relax as there is lots of noisy groups and HEAPS of door slamming!
This hotel is disgusting! I am surprised with all the positive reviews. The bathroom shower curtain had mold and smelled horrible. The floors were sticky, the air conditioner barely worked. Everything was sub-par.
