Very nice location, beautiful area. Be aware that if you arrive at a time when receptionist is not present (on Sunday afternoon, say) you will need to make a phone call in order to get the code to let you in the building.

Charmigt hotel i gamla stan.

Mysigt hotel i gamla stan i Hyeres. Ingen privat parkering men det finns ett parkeringshus längre bort. Hotellet är inte bemannat hela tiden, vi fick ringa ett nummer och fick en kod för dörren. Så det var inga problem. Det fanns en fläkt i rummet, ingen AC, så lite varmt var det men det var helt ok. Ingen hiss, men för oss var det inte något problem. Vi åt inte frukost på hotellet. Det bästa med hotellet var läget.

Très en colère car je n'ai pas pu me rendre à cet hôtel, des travaux de partout en plein centre ville, impossible de s'y rendre en voiture, donc pris un autre hôtel

Cosy nice and friendly

I couldn’t check in before the 8:30 pm as mentioned on the check in policy but I phoned and the staff was friendly over the phone and told me how to get to my room when I would arrive. The room was of modest size but clean and comfortable. Very convenient location and hassle free for me.

Au coeur du centre ville, chambre spacieuse pour 3 mais bruyante le soir car juste en dessous restaurant et le matin un camion du service nettoyage de la ville nous a reveillés

difficile trovarlo perchè le insegne sono coperte dalla boungavillea. Solo per le persone a cui piace stare in posti un poco "antichi" e demodè. Da considerare come klocanda di passaggio e non come hotel ma ci ritornerei.

À éviter, sauf pour l'environnement.

Chambre sans climatisation. Pas de rideau pour séparer les toilettes / douche, de la chambre. Personne à la réception, de 22h à 8h30. (Comment faire pour payer sa note, lorsque l'on part de l'hôtel à 7h ?). Lampe de chevet non remplacée dans la chambre. Fourniture de savon et de produit douche au seuil du ridicule. Accès impossible en voiture, car situé dans la zone piétonne. Pas d'ascenseur pour l'accès aux chambres, mais seulement un escalier extrêmement raide. Pas de placard pour ranger ses affaires dans la chambre. Pas de petit déjeuner servi avant 8h30... Malgré tout, lorsque présent : personnel aimable, aidant et souriant.

Meget hyggeligt hotel i hjertet af den gamle bydel, hvor det var muligt at gå rundt til de hyggelige handelsgader. Hotellet er af lidt ældre dato, men de ansatte var meget søde og venlige, badeværelset var meget nyt og i det hele taget var vi to unge mennesker meget tilfredse. Vi ville booke der igen.

Hôtel sympa mais voisinage bruyant

L'hôtel est fort sympathique, situé au coeur de la ville. Les chambres sont propres, l'accueil à la hauteur. Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur, pas de clim (mais ventilo) et le voisinage de nuit est particulièrement bruyant en été (rue étroite, fenêtres proches les unes des autres).

Great location and good service

The location of this hotel was terrific-- right in the middle of Hyères and very accessible by the bus lines connecting to the airport and the rest of the region. Although the rooms are small and somewhat spartan, the bathrooms are excellent and the beds very comfortable with big fluffy pillows! Would absolutely stay again.

Extrêmement bruyant

Mes invités n'ont pas pu dormir pendant leurs deux nuits à cause de personnes qui criaient dans la rue et dans l'hôtel, de bruits de vaisselle, etc. L'hôtel devrait disposer de climatisation et de double vitrage !

Une nuit blanche...à l'Hôtel Portelet !!!

3 points positifs vite oubliés par tous les points négatifs: - très bien situé dans la ville médiévale - le sourire et la gentillesse de la réceptionniste - le petit déjeuner excellent rapport qualité/consistance/prix Les points négatifs: - hygiène médiocre : salle à manger défraîchie ; dans les couloirs et escaliers tapisseries et peintures sont vétustes, sales ; gaines électriques apparentes à certains endroits, certaines ampoules de couloirs qui n'éclairent pas ; ma chambre était sale, murs lézardés, très très mal isolée (impossible de fermer l'oeil à cause de la TV de la chambre d'à côté = isolation placo), des trous dans le murs (traces d'anciens meubles?), peintures défraîchie ; salle de bain sale, robinetterie de la baignoire qui fuit et pleine de calcaire. - isolation de la chambre : j'ai du ouvrir la fenêtre tellement la chaleur était insupportable....au mois de mars. Pas de clim réversible, qu'est-ce que ça donnera en plein été ? -confort de la chambre : matelas de bonne qualité, mais aucun portant ni penderie pour les vêtements, chambre minuscules, la porte de la salle de bain qui grince (en pleine nuit pas top) - le service : mise à part la bonne humeur et la gentillesse de la réceptionniste, aucune explication quant au fonctionnement du téléphone, ni pour joindre la réception ; aucune indication sur la localisation de la chambre (3 étages sans ascenseur, couloirs et cage d'escalier étroits donc difficiles d'accès). - tarif : quand je vois que le tarif en haute saison est doublé pour la chambre n°17 que j'ai eue, je m'estime "chanceux" de ne pas y avoir dormi (c'est un bien grand mot) en été. Amis voyageurs, ne vous arrêtez pas tout de suite dans cet hôtel et laissez quelques mois encore de ...réflexion à la nouvelle équipe de direction (il parait que le propriétaire a changé récemment...il aurait donc ré-ouvert l'hôtel dans cet état-là !!!) pour rectifier toutes ces incommodités. Have a nice travel !

Un petit hôtel qui ne paye pas de mine, mais idéalement situé, à un tarif tout à fait raisonnable. Petit bémol : le petit déjeuner est un peu light.
