It is an old motel...but the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help. It's an inexpensive place to get some sleep and a hot shower in the heart of Muskoka. Don't expect resort amenities, but not resort prices. We stayed out late at On the Docks Pub and walked back to the motel. Exactly what we were looking for, a place to sleep and McDonald's coffee the next morning.

I had arrived about 2 hours later than I had expected, but as the owner had promised,"No worries your key will be in the..." , and there it was as he said. But, then i locked myself out!! Thought he'd be asleep, but he was So kind about it, as it was even after midnight, and helped me yet again! Perfect sleep, great beds, VERY spacious and clean!

It was easy to book and check in. It was a short walk to the Algonquin Theatre and the main shopping area of Huntsville. It was clean and had lots of space, and a comfy bed, and everything we needed for our short stay.

The room was lacking a table or desk. Could use more decor. Room was clean. Modern and up to date. Bed was very comfortable. Not a rock like most motels. Was ok for a 2 star motel.

The layout of the rooms was really neat, the mattress was super comfortable, and the rooms were clean. We had new towels daily which was lovely! The only thing I would change is that they only give you two pillows (for two people) and they’re super soft so they don’t provide much support (having two would have been perfect). I didn’t want to bug the owners for another set of pillows, so this isn’t a complaint just a suggestion! Great stay, close to everything we wanted to do on our trip.

Great location and short walk to downtown to eat and shop - McDonalds across the street and other convenience stores within a short walk. Air conditioned. It's a room with beds and pet friendly. Toilet/shower in 1 room and sink and fridge/microwave in another room. Freezer needed to be thawed to use but didn't need. Hosts temporary residents along with travellers and is very quiet motel on premises and area. Could use a little extra in room cleaning and tidy up but only there to sleep. All good.

I stayed here 3-4 times a year for at least 15 years, I haven’t stayed here in the last 6-8 years. It has changed hands. The original owners were so clean you could eat off of the parking lot. The current owners have stripped all the amenities from the rooms, beds were lumpy. The room we were in was only accessible along with an elevated wood walkway and railings to get to your rooms 12’ off the ground. It appears to be collapsing towards the parking lot and there are soft spots underneath the outdoor carpet which covers the wood walkway this is nota hood sign.
