I wish I could give the property and especially Amit, more than 5 stars. We had a lovely time on the beach and dock. The rooms are wonderful and the bed was SO COMFORTABLE. (This is a big deal because I sleep very poorly normally).

This place was great, with lots of cute extras! Canoe, kayak, dock that you can use. A great playground, and clean rooms. There is a kitchenette and fridge so you can make simple meals. A cheap alternative to a cottage.

The room we had was great. It had all we needed for our stay. It was a quiet place to rest for the night. The view of the lake is lovely, and the hotel manager was very friendly and accommodating. The whole place is absolutely wonderful. So tranquil and peaceful.

I had issues as soon as I got there, but the staff took care of it immediately. Ended up being an extremely nice stay. My particular room was on the lower level, but the windows were above grade and a direct view to the Lake! Any place can be improved, but they showed that they are willing to get better. I like that.

Here’s a cleaner version: We loved our room, the corner windows, and the location of the Airbnb — only about 10 minutes from Huntsville. We also felt very welcomed. That said, I think there is room for improvement. Most importantly, the bed didn’t feel clean. There were some visible stains, and it didn’t smell fresh. The bathtub was a nice bonus, but there was no shower head holder, which made showering difficult. We stayed in late May, so I understand it wasn’t peak season yet, but I still felt the outdoor area could have been maintained a bit better.
