"Nice rooms with high quality furnishings and comfortable bed. My evening meal was superb. Good position for driving into Scarborough or onto the North Yorkshire Moors. I would have liked a shaving mirror and milk for the drinks in the room. "

"Its a super old hotel but my word its spectacular in its architectural features , beatutiful paintwork throughout , stunning restaurant for dinner and breakfast looks out to sea , amazing , lovely bar area lounge , rooms are standard you can get sea view rooms but ours where just stdndard i slept well , overell the hotel was clesn , friendly staff and not bad food too. Not worthy of its 2.9 rating on internet I'd say worthy of 4 out of 5 more like it"

"The Helaina is a very high standard of bed and breakfast property. We stayed in a Premium Double room on the top floor. The room was very spacious with an excellent bathroom/shower. This room is reached by 6 flights of stairs of varying lengths (it is on the 3rd floor), so not for the infirm or those with heavy luggage. The breakfast needs to be booked, but is of a very good standard. There is no parking on the premises, but the B&B can supply a 2 day parking pass for £5. You can purchase as many as you need. The Helaina is very well placed for a short walk to the Castle and down the path to the North beach and the promenade which will take you to the main town and South beach in 15 to 20 minutes walking (or you can go via the church next to the castle). "

"We had a lovely stay at Manor Court. The room was a nice size and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. It's not far from Bridlington and my wife and I walked there in about an hour(taxis are available). There's plenty going on there. Breakfast in the morning was very good with plenty of choice and very good service. Overall a very nice place to stay I would definitely recommend it."

"We loved it here, room had a gorgeous view and the family room wa spacious. Bunk bed was a bit creakky (but our kids were probably too big for them really.) Fab locations for the northbay side where there is lots to do. Breakfast was AMAZING! "

"First time staying here while on a trip to see the Puffins at Bempton Cliffs.. About 20 minutes from the RSPB centre. Nice clean rooms and good food in the Lobster Pot pub across the car par (plenty of parking space too) Would definitely use again"

"The hotel had an amazing view! I could just sit in front of the window and look outside for the entire day. Breakfast was good as well. The dinner was a bit pricey Nice staff, clean room, easy parking, would definitely recommend it!"
