"Excellent hotel that provides great value for the money. The spa was phenomenal and the fitness center very well equipped. The breakfast was better than anything I experienced in other similar level hotels, including some much pricier ones. And the location along the danube was very welcome, as was the sight at the back of the hotel. I also found it convenient for getting into the city center, with a straight bus just outside the hotel and taxis/ubers that were reasonably priced. With two dining rooms, one a la carte and one that provides a great buffet dinner, no guest would be likely to go hungry for long. Finally the staff, mostly super friendly young people with healthy sense of humor, went above and beyond to be helpful with advise and help needed for transportation and information (and I needed quite a bit of advise as my trip was a bit complicated with people to meet and places to go to). The room was also lovely, (other than perhaps a more convenient desk space would have been nice for laptop users, though likely most people don't come to work at this hotel). All in all, highly recommended for your stay, be it short or long, solo or with family/colleagues."

"We just got back from staying at the Continental, and we had a blast! The breakfast was top-notch, with tons of tasty choices to kick off the day. We really loved the spa and wellness area, it was the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. The location is awesome too, with easy access to get around the city and a bunch of great food and drink spots nearby. The hotel bar is a hit as well, ideal for winding down with a drink in the evening. One of the coolest things about the Continental is how they’ve kept the original ancient structure, giving it a unique vibe and real character. Our room was super clean and comfy, though a bit smaller than we thought. There were a couple of little issues: the showerhead kept falling off, and the AC control panel was a bit loose. All in all, we had an amazing time and would totally recommend the Continental for its awesome amenities, thoughtful design, and perfect spot, though there’s a bit of room for improvement with the in-room stuff."

"as hotel was transferred to verdi, and the last 10+ years the quality and maintenance of the hotel went down. Staff is very nice, however can not handle all with "i am so sorry" the hotel really looks outdated, and sometimes corridors looks dirty as carpets are used. Spa/Pool area, after upgrading the sauna, looks dirty again, the 3rd pool, which was always hot, nice to relax is cold. Still believe that with small effort could be better"
