"Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quite dated but clean. Refrigerator worked but it had to be held closed. There was no breakfast but the coffee in the lobby was good. There was no coffee makers in the rooms. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub. It wasn’t bad for a night or two. There were a couple restaurants right next to the motel but Iron ridge is a really small town so there isn’t much around there, including a breakfast restaurant. "We arrived to the room and opened a cabinet that was full of a half eaten pizza, along with bags of soda and trash. Made me a little worried about the cleanliness of the room but otherwise it was a beautiful stay—the room was large and lovely, the temperature was great. I’m hoping they’ll put some money into upgrading their key system—the door key card kept registering red, and although staff were kind about resetting it each time, it was annoying. "After driving 17 hours from Texas to Wisconsin, we are very pleased when we got into our room to see how clean, big and all the amenities it included. Our last hotel in West bend was terrible and I would never return to them. This will be my new spot! Thank you for taking such good care of my family while we visited!"

"It's an older property and I suspect they are a little lite on staff. Both times I came to the desk nobody was there. They did answer the house phone when I dialed the number shown at the desk and did come promptly to handle my check-in and out... The room was a bit spare - no carpet, but it was clean and everything worked fine... Parking was tight - maybe just me, I arrived after 10pm and I think there was exactly one parking space left both nights - so all good, but there are just enough...

"Bed was hard as a rock. The owner was rude to my dad over a deposit then changed his mind about it after seeing us. Was repeatedly going to call about changing locks but never did during a holiday weekend and I barely slept the entire time there despite using sleeping pills and alcohol. Hotel was too close to the road making any vehicle going by another way to wake us up. Was a horrible stay and will not recommend."

"The entire experience could best be described as the most pleasant hotel surprise in 10-plus years traveling for my current job. The room was spacious and clean. It had all the TV channels a sports fan guest could want. There was a large Kwik Trip just down the street and a Piggly Wiggly -- both clean with food, drink options if you didn't want to do the McDonald's, Taco Bell, etc., on the same stretch. It is a locally run hotel that was previously part of a chain and you can see the care given...

"Bed was the best part. Shower was quite good. Sadly the toilet was not solid to the floor. It made us feel it might fall over. Hope that can be remedied. The was nobody in the office to tell about the toilet."
