"This is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed. I was not excited about the food being included, but once we got there and realized the value put into quality food and whole ingredients, my mind changed!

"An absolutely fantastic, family-run hotel where we were made to feel very welcome and looked after. Superb restaurant (we ate there every night) with local dishes and ingredients and hearty but healthy breakfasts. The
pool, sauna and spa were just wonderful and the mountain scenery made the whole experience feel like a complete rest cure. Can’t recommend highly enough. The only tiny niggle would be that we would have appreciated air conditioning but it wasn’t a huge issue. "

Amazing pool/sauna area!!!!!
"Wow! This was the fanciest hotel of our trip! The pools and relax rooms and saunas were amazing!!!!!!! Seriously I wanted to stay an extra day just to enjoy them! They have 3 different pools and lots of lounge chairs/hammocks and a beautiful outdoor garden area plus some great indoor relaxation rooms and a huge sauna area with several options. That was so nice! It was the perfect way to relax after our hike! The town is very small, so don’t expect tons of options for food/shopping, but we liked Dobbiaco way better than trying to fight the crowds in Cortina and we found what we needed, even stopping by the cheese factory for some delicious cheese! The hotel staff was kind and friendly and the food was very good. The breakfast buffet had tons of options. The only downside was it was the end of June and hot and they didn’t have a/c or a fan, and leaving the one window open didn’t offer a ton of air flow. I asked for a fan at reception and they said they didn’t have one. We ended up leaving the balcony door completely open at night and it cooled off enough. The location is pretty close to the Tre Cime area and super close to Lago de Braies so definitely a good location as well. We were overall very pleased with our stay. "
