Beautiful pool and beach view in a very large room was great but the real highlight for us was the friendliness of the staff, with no exceptions. Kids enjoyed the pools, ping pong, and badminton. Also the gardens were beautiful. We saw a small owl flying in them one evening and a variety of birds during the day. Breakfast was excellent, in particular the croissants and fresh honey on a comb. Just a lot of variety and it was all delicious. Also, walking distance to the night market was nice bonus for us. Only negative was construction around the south pool and adjacent building(leaving the 2 other pools available still). Was surprised when we arrived about that but it did not dampen our experience. Sign said it would complete Dec 2026.

They are doing a little construction, but I would stay again. If you’re looking for a historic hotel with some uniqueness, then this is it. They provide overnight supplies if you forgot something like a tooth brush or razor. Housekeeping is very good. They provide bottle water and have good internet and the normal stuff you would expect. Buffet is ok in morning, but quality of food could be a bit better, but I have a feeling with the construction and less occupancy right now they probably are just cutting back a bit. Landscaping could use some work in gardens. Honestly, they are just running lean with the extra expense to get the property back to where it should be. Price is a bit reduced and staff was very friendly and again, rooms are clean. Also location is great and you can walk to beach and city center easily.

Impossible to find a better hotel - top class!

Only positive things to say, staff, management, hospitality - after 17 nights stay - we again only have positive things to say. Try the hotel and you will definitely not be disappointed.

Great hotel to visit with children. The new pool villa rooms was preferred for us, since the other ones are outdated and those are new. Enjoyed the club where you can get afternoon tea and drinks pre dinner. The coffee was terrible for breakfast (used to Italian coffee)

We had a wonderful stay at Center Grand Resort. The property is truly stunning, with beautiful landscaping throughout. We were particularly impressed by the thoughtful garden art arranged by the grounds team—it added a special touch. The staff were consistently kind and welcoming, and we appreciated the easy access to the pool. The housekeeping was thorough, and the private beach was lovely. Our only suggestion for improvement would be the gym, which felt a bit small and limited in terms of equipment. We hope this is something that might be expanded in the future.

This hotel is the best hotel I have ever seen. Location, staff, food and the garden/building is top class. But from Jan 2026 and at least another year maintenance and building on the site means noise. It is a shame because everything apart from this was fantastic.
