My wife and I are from Houma and we're visiting family. We do this 3-4 times a year. Houma has changed drastically in the 20+ years that we've been away. It has a lot more options for dining, entertainment and culture than it did when we moved.

Just that they need to fix the roads and fix things in Terrebonne parish other than that it's a really nice place a lot to do such as swamp tour, nice restaurant

"The important stuff worked and was all there, no bugs, helpful staff, continental breakfast, shower and bathroom worked and were not broken or gross, lights all worked, beds were clean and well made. I didn't get a chance to try the pool but it looked nice and relaxing.
No soap or shampoo in the shower so you will need to bring your own, and not a lot of outlets to use in the room. They also charge you and $75 deposit on the room, just a heads up, I saw it was refunded already this evening and I checked out thia morning.
That said, if I was back in town, i'd stay there again. "
"The hotel was very nice and employees very helpful - even if they didn't all speak english. I wish there had been a net by the pool since there were aome debris and dead bugs. And the hotel restaurant had an extremely limited menu (which did not match the online menu by the way). But overall i give it 5 stars and would definitely stay here again."
