Charming, lovely, sublime! The staff were excellent. Breakfast well worth the money and the grounds were gorgeous. Our room was well appointed and had a magnificent view. Loved this place!
What a wonderful place! My only complaint is we only stayed for two nights. I really enjoyed this place!
We got to meet the animals and played archery. Breakfast was wonderful
Our stay here was amazing. An authentic chateau with a 45 min drive to Omaha Beach Normandy, France. Beautiful building and gardens with a pond and ducks. We also saw deer and an eagle. The long driveway in is very special. If you’re in the area you should experience this chateau !
Best hotel ever! Gorgeous grounds, flowers, duck pond, fields, delicious breakfast (free for kids), enormous and beautiful room. Our kids loved the archery and giant trampoline. Unlimited free whiskey? Yes!

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
beautiful setting, large rooms ok breakfast. The owner was very rude., When complaining on dirt, he accused us of doing it......
Amazing place! So glad we chose to stay here away from the towns. We were still really close to Caen, Bayeux, and the WWII sites and even Mont St Michel! since we rented a car. They also upgraded our room to the deluxe! It was very spacious with amazing views from both windows. Highly recommend everyone to consider this hotel during their stay in Normandy. Oh and they also have like 5 kitties that stay at the place that are very friendly! Definitely a bonus for this cat lover 😅
The time we stayed in this chateau was kind of non peak season, it was only 3 couples to stay in the chateau included us. It gave us a sense of privacy and quietness which exactly we were looking for in country side. The room is on the top floor with front garden and back pond view, it was pretty. The room is very cosy and spacious. Though the room is not included breakfast but the host offered all you can drink at the lounge area and we ended up had plenty of glasses of whiskey and martini
This place is stunning! It’s so well cared for. The gardens are beautiful. It’s so quiet and the bed was comfy. The rooms are very spacious, even the bathroom. It was perfect for us. The directions were very clear. Andy communicated very well, we felt very comfortable with the timely texts. Just perfect. Really, stay here, don’t even question it.
Amazing country stay , we basically had a chateau to ourselves , quite country estate location ,20 km to a large town. 5 star

What a find - a beautiful chateau in lovely gardens and surroundings. Lovely big bedroom and bathroom with robes, slippers, fluffy towels & good selection of toiletries, comfy bed. The breakfast was amazing & possibly the best we’ve ever had. It was served by a very friendly lady starting with a fresh beautifully presented fruit salad. I had freshly cooked scrambled eggs followed by continental breakfast with delicious pastries & croissants etc. We hope to return one day!

Liked: Cleanliness
Staff was not available at all times and there was a concern of safety in such a large building and grounds.
Met by a lovely Madame that took great care of us during our stay.
Chateuau and room looked great. Nice breakfast.
Ceilings, artefacts etc. could have been kept cleaner, otherwise all good.
A lot of cats. Also a family home that makes you some what feel that you are intruding a bit sometimes.
Nicely renovated country "chateau" surrounded by fields. This is a unique experience. Bad thing was no elevator but the owner carried all the bags to our room. We arrived about 7:30 pm and the owner was in the drive waving to show us the way in. A little driving required to get to a meal other than breakfast at the hotel.
The setting is magical. The large room on the top floor was incredibly lovely. Superbe breskfast, and the young lady serving breakfast was most friendly! The negative aspect was the odor from the cats that was strong outside and in some of the areas inside the chateau.... sadly I cannot give a top rating bc this was so off-putting.
Utroligt flot gammel Chateau. Meget stort og dejligt værelse. Meget stille. God og enkel morgenmad. Nem adgang til seværdigheder. Mine varmeste anbefalinger
