Days Inn by Wyndham Grand Junction

2/10 Terrible

"This was absolutely a third world experience for us, in lodging accommodations. There were only 3 areas where we thought the place met universal standards. There were no issues with the AC. The 2 bath towels were new, the bed texture was ok. Everything else was unsatisfactory, or insulting. The overall look of the room looked like they should just demo the room, and start new. The front door had animal scratches on the wall next to the door, and there were heavy dirty scratches on the bottom quarter of the door. The carpeting was dark and dirty, from no shampooing in a long time. List of unclean items: Both top sheets had numerous dark spots, stains on interior bed sheets, black hair on one bed, 2 of the 4 flatten used-up pillows had at least one stain on each. All the furniture were beat up, and should have been replaced long ago. The fridge was cold enough, but had dried food particles on the bottom. The microwave had brown stains that covered most of the interior. Both appliances had not been cleaned on the outside for some time. The bathrooms floor, and lower walls have not been cleaned. Left only 1/4 roll of toilet paper with no new roll in the room. Th bath tub had not been scrubbed for some time. The corners of the tile floor had deep dark stains, and needed to be cleaned and scrubbed, same as the walls. 3 light bulbs were out from the light t fixtures. I do not think Days Inn know the condition of this franchise, or they would not allow the owners to continue."

"This is my go to place to spend the night when traveling between San Diego and Denver or Further out. It’s always clean, quiet, has a good breakfast at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend it for the tired traveler staying in the area or passing through!"

Wine Country Inn Palisade

10/10 Excellent

"Loved happy hour appetizers and small dinner plates in the Tapestry. Day server there was fantastic. Also enjoyed the complimentary wine. Great idea!! Disappointed ☹️ with housekeeping for not giving us clean wine glasses and not putting Kleenex box in its slot. Left dirty plastic cups out instead of removing."

"Clean, basic accommodations with a good hot breakfast and friendly staff. Great water pressure in the shower. Room was clean and well-kept. Pet-friendly with a low pet fee. Close to several chain restaurants and fast food places. Very convenient to the interstate. Would definitely stay here again!"
