"Check in was quick and pleasant. Parking was plentiful. Room was clean. Was disappointed to see at check-in that the pool was closed "until further notice". (I would have likely been alerted had I read other reviews.) However, was pleasantly surprised that the pool reopened by the second night of our two-night stay and we were able to enjoy the hot tub. Stopped by the desk on our way out after night one requesting additional towels and maintenance for a quick bathroom fix. Happily remedied by the time we returned in the evening. Complimentary breakfast was fine, but choices were light. Basically toast, pop tarts, hard-boiled eggs, and cereal were the only options. Juice was out of order, one carafe of milk was available, coffee was on the other side of the lobby. Property is solid for a quick stay when you need a budget option in town. Staff made all the difference for us. Thank you!"

"Great hotel, charming as can be in the heart of downtown Mayville. Walkable to coffee shop, restaurants and bars. Parking is limited. I was happy I brought an eye mask as the rooms do not get as dark as I am used to. Pay attention to late arrival policies and procedures as the desk is not manned 24hours."

"The hotel could use some much needed maintenance on the rooms as there were holes in the bathroom doors, the holder for the hair dryer kept falling off the wall of (which it could have very easily have fallen into the sink) The walls in the room needed a fresh coat of paint as they were wore down to the drywall behind the Chair by the window, but the bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean and for the most part, it was quiet other than on Saturday night... someone decided to start knocking on people's doors... The front desk was exceedingly polite and helpful on my check-in."

"staff was friendly, hotel was under remodeling while we had our stay therefore the hot tub was out along with the fitness center yet still paid regular price for amenities as we could not use. access to the parking lot was overgrown bushes should be trimmed."
