"I was very happy with this hotel and its location. Our room had a view of the local lake and mountains, which was perfect way to begin our day. The hotel price was very reasonable and the location was perfect for our needs"
"This hotel’s set in a little paradise, the staff were very helpful and offered a small menu for dinner and it was delicious. Breakfast didn’t disappoint either, a really great variety to choose from.
Would highly recommend. "
"Two nights reservation, it was great first time, collected the keys from the entry box, parking right by, peaceful environment, and direct view of the Neuschwanstein Castle!!"
"Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Unfortunately, we got a room right next to the church and the church bells rang loudly every 15 minutes all night long, so we got almost no sleep. It is a shame, as the hotel itself is beautiful."

"It was great being within the old town area, and the location very near the free bus to the castles was a real plus. The facility is getting a bit dated and the (family) room, while spacious, was not very well appointed. Breakfast was great. Navigating the hotel's underground parking garage was a bit tight."
"Beautiful location, with a short walk to restaurants and bars, picturesque and walkable. Good public transport links if needed. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful if needed but not overbearing. Thanks for a wonderful stay. "
"This was the most amazing hotel. Our room was beautiful and the view utterly breathtaking. We had a small balcony and giant picture windows in the room from which we could see a lake with a chain of alps. It’s a short walk to a castle ruins, and a short drive to Old Fussen. The entire area around the lake is walkable. The restaurant was equally amazing. The food was good, the service was amazing. We had breakfast each morning, again, gazing at a lake with mountains, and dinner the first night. I would go back, and I wish we stayed longer.
Notes: there is no air conditioning, but the weather is beautiful and they give you a fan. We were never uncomfortable. Parking is available, but be careful, the spots are tight. "
"This is a great boutique hotel with novel decor and comfortable beds. No service and self check in/out, although there was a young lady there when we checked in using the kiosk. It was good she was there because our credit card would not do touchless payment for the amount of the bill and she was able to use a chip card reader. If she wasn't there, I don't know what we would have done. Better to pay ahead. Info about braakfast was there, but none was actually offered. No one was there until cleaning ladies showed up later.
Fuessen is a nice little town. Great restuarants around and gelato. The castles are of course the reason to visit this part of Bavaria. Hohen Schwangau is kuch better than Neu Schwanstein. They actually tell you a lot about the king and filt. At Neu Schwanstein, the tours are now nothing like they were 8 years ago. It is a rush to cram as many people through as fast as possible and you don't have time to look at anything and they tell you hardly anything. It used to be so good. This hotel should band with others in Fuessen to change that or tourism will go down when people learn how bad it has become. Hotel was great, Schwanfau was great. Schwanstein was awful. This was my third, and last, time to the area. Too bad, it used to be a great romantic place ro visit.
