"The floor in the bedroom was wet damp coming from somewhere. There was a musty smell. The outside space was filthy the floor was black in places and there was moss on the floor. The table and chairs were rusty. Old plant pots scattered about. The area was smaller than it looked in the photo. We couldn’t sit outside. We should of taken a picture but unfortunately we didn’t."

"The room was clean and tidy, with some parts that needed a bit of love but nothing that spoilt the stay. We stayed in a front room facing the road which was a bit noisey as its quite a busy road but shutting the window at night kept it bearable and sleepable.. The food was very good we had breakfast and dinner and the menu was varied and worth the price which was not expensive either. The service was exceptional especially in the restaurant. Overall we stayed for 3 nights and thouroughly enjoyed the hotel, the cost of the stay including breakfast was very good and worth the money. And my wife and I will certainly stay again. The hotel is well situated for the beaches, the caves and also the RSPB area at Ham wall(where you can see a wide vaiety of birds and other wildlife, well worth a visit)"
