This hotel is right across the Happy Valley (HKJC) race track. So a very nice area. There is a tram station right across (Queen Elizabeth Road East Station). The recommendation is to take a tram to the nearest MTR (subway) station. It's a very far walk from the MTR station. Taxi is another option, but much more expensive. It's a nice hotel, wish it is closer to a MTR station. The tram helps, so look up its route and get familiarize with it.

The Dorsett is a solid option for exploring HK. We liked the convenience of being across the street from a trolley stop, the staff and especially the concierge were really helpful, having some transportation to HK station to get back to the airport was really appreciated. Also appreciated eco friendly water bottle filling station, The property is older, but maintained and rooms are showing some signs of aging but overall clean and comfortable. I wish the shuttle was offered somewhat more frequently but the service was really appreciated.
