"We did not have the typical Hilton experience. The beach was beautiful and the location is convenient. After that, it was not great. The rooms need new carpet. There was also a dusty/moldy smell. There was a blood stain on the mattress pad. Our AC was not working properly (they said it had to be replaced after we left). Our view was of old, loud, rusted AC units on the roof. A private beach with chairs was advertised. When you get there, you have to pay for chairs. There is a public beach in front of the private beach. The pool is overcrowded and the service is very slow. There was no place for my elderly parents to just sit and look at the beach. The only places in the hotel with a beach view are restaurants where you have to order to sit there. The point of our trip was to celebrate their 50th anniversary, but it wasn’t the experience we hoped for. "
