"We had one night here, perfect location for Trearddur bay , the valley and Holyhead.
The hotel had just been taken over, the new owner seems excited to bring a new lease of life to the place.
Hotel was quiet throughout the night, although the cleaners did disturb us at 8am chatting to each other in the corridor and slamming doors, maybe an idea to have the housekeeping staff start at 9am.
The restaurant wasn’t yet open but we popped into the bar for a few drinks, the bar man was very friendly. The owner was very welcoming and I wish him the very best wishes on bringing the place to life again as it has so much potential. I would book again and look forward to the changes to come. And hopefully the restaurant will be up and running so we can enjoy a cooked breakfast."
"All members of staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They go about their duties efficiently and effectively. Our room was clean and serviced daily with the hospitality tray and toiletries being replenished regularly. There is a fairly good choice of food at the breakfast buffet and also a variety of hot dishes are available and served at your table."
"Location location location! Brilliant hotel for a weekend retreat away. It's great value for money and the stunning beach is only 2 mins walk away. My mum, daughter and I have been twice now we love it that much."
"Our hosts were very accommodating.
There local knowledge was very helpful to us in going to different parts of the island.
The breakfast was more than adequate set you up for the day.
Would recommend them to anyone."
"Exactly what a short simple stay should be . Immaculately clean , well organised , smooth operation , everything in good repair , quaint local history provided ."
"This is an older hotel, in a lovely spot next to the harbour, nice places to walk. The staff were super helpful, getting a taxi for the morning afterwards and the restaurant menu had several great choices for both vegetarian and Celiac (gluten free) clearly marked. A really good choice of dishes all round, to be honest that all sounded excellent for a small hotel, surprisingly! I had the salmon and it was delicious!"
