"A wonderful place to stay!"

"I actually love this hotel, usually, but on this occasion I was put in a room next to the lifts so I literally did not sleep all night with the noise. Also, the basin in the bathroom did not drain well and smelled of rotten eggs. Room service was ok, they forgot the drink I called them back and got asked to call back so that was a faff. It was obvious there had been water ingress around the ceiling near the entrance to the bathroom which was a shame as rest of room felt quite new. The window on the bathroom was super old with many layers of old crusty paint - why have they spent so much renovating this hotel but left out some details. The staff are very helpful and very polite. This girl is normally my favourite hotel in Sheffield but it missed the mark on this occasion. "

"I will never stay in this hotel again. To put it simply, the rooms are claustrophobic, dated, shabby, with damage all over the walls and furniture. The bathrooms are minuscule and mouldy. The walls are made of paper it seems, as you can hear neighbours snoring. A good old Premier Inn would be a much better option. The only good thing during my stay was the friendliness of the staff. But, still never again. "
