Clarion Hotel The Hub

"The Clarion Hotel was perfectly located a few steps from the train station. My room was cozy and lovely and very quiet. The room had a fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast was over the top there were a number of tables filled with baked goods, fruit, vegetables, cheeses and meats and several hot choices on top of a chef to make your personal omlette. Everything was delicious. I ended up walking to all the tourist sites. Buses and trams available just outside the door of the hotel. If I was so lucky to go to Norway again I would for sure stay at this hotel."

"The location is quiet and historic, by the large ski jump used in the Olympics years ago. And on a hill above Oslo. It is near (walkable) a train into the city for commuting. There are very many lovely and cozy public areas to curl up by a fire, and even a library. The included breakfast buffet was very good with many hot and cold choices. The reception staff, especially Tommy, who checked us in, was very friendly and helpful. He even led us a short distance to show us the stairs. There is a sauna, but the outdoor pool, which was still open Sept. 12, was too cold for swimming. Our room had a spacious outdoor area. This is a fine hotel and less expensive than in central Oslo."

"A beautiful property above Oslo in the mountains. Easy access to the metro to Oslo city center. The staff was wonderful and the hotel was lovely and a very quiet location. The restaurant was wonderful and the breakfast had a variety of delicious options."

"Nice hotel. Located a 30 minutes walking from Oslo Central Station. The room is small, as in a lot of European hotels. Front line staff very nice and room was cleaned daily. As with most hotels, my complaint is the hair dryer. Weak air supply and the dryer doesn’t stay on unless you’re press the button which is very inconvenient when styling hair. Otherwise, the room was airy and pleasant. Breakfast was very good and lots of variety. Especially liked the smoothies but they went quickly."
