"It is an iconic but rather tired hotel which would warrant a substantial revamping. However, upkeep did take place overall and the level of services remains medium to high. Besides, it offered attractive prices during the weekend. The swimming pool and spa area are truly worn, the restaurant on the top floor is scenic and unexpectedly atmospheric. The neighborhood is depressing but next door to the central station and walking distance to the hip gentrified Opera quarter."

"The hotel room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was outstanding. It was very convent to get to from the airport - one fast train. The only thing that might be a problem for elderly or handicabable was the uneven hallways probably from the remodel of an old building."
