It's easy to take a weekend stay in Holbaek, as you can get trains from both Kalundborg and Copenhagen to Holbaek. There are also several buses in the town that can connect you to the main sights on a daily basis. If you arrive by car, you can follow the Holbaek Motorway directly from Copenhagen to Holbaek. Holbaek is located 45 miles west of Copenhagen Airport. There are frequent regional trains connecting Copenhagen and Holbaek. Note that you may find Copenhagen written in Danish as Kobenhavn in Danish timetables.
