Hohenwerfen Castle

A medieval castle about 30 minutes from Salzburg. It had a cameo roll in the Sound of Music, and played a larger part in Where Eagles Dare. There is a bird of prey show featuring eagles, falcons and even a vulture. A fun time. You can hike up, or take the funicular.
