Had a wonderful stay at Guesthouse Skálafell! The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, and the surroundings were beautiful. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, Everything was well taken care of, and I really enjoyed my time here. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay!

Great find in the middle of the countryside and right next to an incredible hiking trail. You are in the wild here which we liked. Fresh air, comfy warm cabin and a little kitchen which we used. Staff were extremely helpful and kind.

Our stay here was great! We stayed in the family cottage, it was clean, spacious and cozy! It is in a great location where everything isn’t too far of a drive away and there is a trailhead for a hike right on the property!

It’s accessible from the main road and activities around the area. The room had everything we need it for. The staff was very attentive, including Saga (the dog), who was very friendly too. The room and surrounding areas were very clean and the beds super comfortable. Lovely place
