"The Location in the town of Lenox was perfect for our needs. They did have an electric car charger, which was useful. The hotel has a certain old-fashioned grandeur"

"Escaped into another world on each floor's hallway-the memorabilia and artwork spoke of an honest, New England history. The atmosphere was perfect for a genuine, original immersion into New England's past and LOVED going up and down the 150yr old elevator! Meals delicious w/excellent service. Only one issue we had: the AC in the room was difficult to adjust and were quite chilled even w/turning the thermostat up to 80 deg!!!!!!!!! as suggested by the front desk. Shall make this a yearly visit!"

"The Shaker Mill Inn is located in West Stockbridge so it is away from the dense tourist traffic in Stockbridge, but is located with easy access to Tanglewood, Stockbridge, Norman Rockwell Museum, and I90 and the rural Berkshires. The garden was wonderful with many flowers in bloom—very pretty. The breakfasts were tasty. The Meadow bedroom was large with 2 reclining chairs, small dining table, small kitchen area with the necessities, and good air conditioning. It also had a porch, which was very nice to sit on and have sundowners; since it was on the 2nd floor, it was very private."
