"Horrible experience. Reached around 6pm. No one present at the property. Could not enter. Need to speak a guest who helped to do stuff online check in. had 2 rooms, none have toilet, dirty, next to main road, too noisy, could not sleep, no cooling arrangement, too hot. Next morning met staff, very unfriendly, for example a big black dog freely came into restaurant while have breakfast, asked owner to lead and he said "it is his dog and it is his property so he would not". "We were unable to access the accommodation: upon arrival, we found ourselves in front of code boxes, no response to calls to the owner between 4 PM and 5 PM, no calls from him despite the message left on voicemail in English, no email indicating the codes. In short, unable to leave 2 children in the blazing sun, we were forced to book another hotel and lose the money for this rental. The fault does not rest entirely with the owner; Epedia also shares some responsibility, as the emails received...

"Although my wife and I had terrible problems getting to the hotel, but it was worth it for the amazing views we had once we got there. We arrived by train at Bubikon, and had hoped there would be a bus that would take us up to the hotel, but they only went half way. A taxi would have been very expensive, but, fortunately a very kind lady offered to drive us up to the hotel. The hotel was lovely. The staff were very kind, happy and helpful, and the food was superb. We only stayed one night but were very happy with our stay. We did get a taxi back down to the train station when we left, and were charged 56ch. We thought this was very expensive for a relatively short journey that took much longer than it should have. It felt like the driver was taking us around in circles. Thank you for providing us with a lovely time at your stunning hotel. Regards Tony and Karen Webb"
